Fontana delle Tartarughe
Located in the Ghetto area, the charming Fontana delle Tartarughe is the work of Taddeo Landini (1584) to a design by Giacomo della Porta. One of the loveliest fountains in all Rome, it is made of grey and white marble and bronze. It was restored in 1658, perhaps by Bernini, when the tortoises were added.
